SOLUTION APPLIED TO THE CUSTOMER

Development of an industrial system for quality supervision of labeling and bottling using Artificial Intelligence.

Grupo Zamora is responsible for the production and sale in more than 60 countries of the famous Licor 43. The high demand for this product and its strict quality criteria require each bottle to be individually supervised and analyzed to ensure that it reaches the customer in optimal conditions both inside and outside.

Operationally, this means that for every bottle that leaves the factory, more than 20 quality points are analyzed. From the presence and correct placement of the fiscal seal to the different positions of its labels, including the correct placement of the closure cap.

This supervision process has been automated using Artificial Vision algorithms, capable of approving each bottle in less than 50 milliseconds. If a bottle does not pass the quality control, it is automatically ejected from the line and deposited into a reject bin for relabeling or rebottling.

Bottles are analyzed by a 360-degree capture system, which provides a comprehensive view of the bottle, identifying any defects present and even performing traceability based on its serial number. There is also a dashboard that generates rejection statistics by batch, volume, time, and type of fault. This allows driving quality control and continuous improvement processes.
